"I went to this restaurant the other day as I was hungry and wanted to eat something before, I went to see a play at the Kiln Theatre. I wasn’t sure what type of food I wanted and there were a lot of different places around, however as I walked down Kilburn High Road and one place caught my eye and that was Faris Fishmonger ,a middle eastern fish restaurant. I hadn’t heard of the restaurant before, but I saw that they served fish and I love fish. I wasn't disappointed as the food and service were amazing. It's a restaurant and a fishmonger, so the fish is fresh, in fact I picked my fish from the selection of fresh fish that they was being sold, and they cooked it and that's what I ate. I have a very big appetite and I had a big platter with fish soup with generous helpings of crab, 2 large well grilled fish (I forget what kind), some huge, seasoned prawns, rice, salad, tangy spicy sauce and humous. This was served on a big tray and could have been shared between 3-4 people perhaps. All the food was very well seasoned and flavourful and tantalised my taste buds. The waiter was fantastic and provided fantastic customer service. We had a pot of lemon, ginger, and honey to counteract the effects of the cold weather. My friend also had a very generous aromatic portion of fish and chips and salads. Well-seasoned and tasty and big enough to share. I will be going back to Faris Fishmonger again as I had an amazing relaxed dining experience, the food portions were very generous and extremely tasty. I have recommended it to friends and family and recommend it to anyone that loves fish."
